Case Pedalboard

Case Pedalboard
how does a guitar pedalboard work?

this "pedalboard" powers all my danelectro pedals, but is the pedalboard just a platform in which you carry them or can you keep them in there and hook them up to a system or amp an just keep them in there while playing? and if so, will you need about 3 boxes and 5 intrument cables to make all be hooked up at the same time so that when i want to turn on/off a pedal i will be able to?
here's the pedal

yeah the Pedal Board should supply your 9-12vlt power(not sure). it should double as a case and you'll need a pedal kit if you dont have the shorty cables. also, it might be a good idea to run a patchbox so you can route signals(usually homemade) without loading, and still take advantage of the dual outs on some pedals. i use a korg ax1000g, kinda antique in multiprocessors, but fairly nice toy if you can deal with the quirks it has, like effects changing due to power i think not sure. im gonna get a few ind. pedals so i can run compressor in front of my distortion.

anyway enough about me. if you use a Power Supply, you can build a box from wood and countersink your pedals so you can use right and left feet at the same time. this might help if your like me and always switching effects and at the same phrase. sometimes i lose my balance( ~/).
