My aunt likes to help his dessert for Friday and has provided the following ingredients: gelatin mixture, Swiss Roll, custard, mixed fruit can, whipped cream, cream and espagnol. What do I put the chips in the Swiss roll into a bowl, pour the jelly on top and let it settle, then place the fruit on top, then custard, whipped cream and decorate? Please help! I've never done before, only a kind of guess. Online recipes include alcohol and cookies'm so confused. macberly, the idea sounds great, but what about the jelly? Thanks for the answers, but my aunt wants jelly in it – which makes the jelly to go?

A bit is a desert in layers. If you have a glass bowl, staight sides the best, because the use is something to show, as well as flavor. Slice the Swiss roll and make a layer on the bottom. Put some jam on top then add some fruit and then another layer of cream then roll, jam, fruit and custard. keep doing this until you run out of ingredients then if off, with maybe a couple pieces of fruit to decorate the whipped cream Crean Anglais. The good thing is that with a little different layers that also gets some all in one spoonful. Oh, and there is enough I put some whipped cream on the side because people tend to add more! lol!
