Linear Taper
when you simulate a linear pot to a log pot with a taper resistor, is the value of the pot unchanged?
I'm looking for a 100k log pot but it's difficult to find it on our local stores. Buying online is way too expensive. I'm trying to simulate a 100k linear pot to a 100k log pot by adding a taper resistor (25k ohms) to ground and wiper lugs of the linear pot. Is the sweep factor the only thing that's changed?
